On the season finale of "Extreme Weight Loss," father-daughter duo Jeff and Juliana were both struggling with weight loss and finding common ground in their relationship. Fortunately, the program gave them the chance to completely change their lives.

"I'm glad I had my Dad next to me...He's the best Dad in the world," Juliana said.

Chris Powell asked him, "How does that feel?"

"That's the best thing I could have heard," Jeff said.

Being on "Extreme Weight Loss" brought about many other positive changes for Jeff and Juliana. Together, they lost a combined weight of 300 pounds, with Jeff losing 205 pounds and Juliana losing 95.

According to the KMGH, after battling depression during much of her adolescence, Juliana is turning her experiences into positive change in her community:

"She's...an ambassador for the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program, an anti-bullying program that invited Juliana to work with them -- something she could never have imagined 18 months ago."

According to Heavy.com, Jeff and Juliana's strained relationship has completely turned around.

Jeff told the Highlands Ranch Herald, "I've never seen a young person like my daughter and the strength she has portrayed this last year. I have amazing respect for her."

As Zap2It noted, the show's coaches, Chris and Heidi, described their experiences with Jeff and Juliana as a "roller coaster ride from start to finish."

WOTV pointed out that the duo had a very strained relationship before doing the program -- possibly making it even more difficult for them to lose weight together.

Fans were stunned by the father-daughter duo's dramatic transformation, and called the episode "inspiring."
