'Storage Wars': Auctioneer Dan Dotson Undergoes Major Surgery

On "Storage Wars," fast-talking auctioneer Dan Dotson was hospitalized after suffering from a double brain aneurysm. This led to an eight hour-long surgery with a low survival rate.

Dan's wife, Laura, responded to fans on Twitter after the surgery, thanking them for their "love and prayers."

As Hollywood Life reported, Dan only had a "4 percent to 20 percent chance of survival" during the surgery. Laura gave the site further details about the terrifying night Dan was rushed to the hospital.

"She recalls that Dan had double vision and did not feel well so he went back to sleep, but when he woke up to take a shower, he turned blue and collapsed so she immediately called 911 and administered CPR on her husband."

Fortunately, it appeared Dan had a successful surgery and is recovering. According to The Hollywood Reporter, A&E released a statement to the site, saying that their thoughts are with Dan's family and they wish him a speedy recovery.
