Massive whale shark crashes into diver

Chris Coates was on a dive with his friend when he literally came face-to-face with a massive whale shark -- and he filmed the entire thing.

Whale sharks only eat plankton, but the frightening encounter still had Coates audibly screaming under water.

He took the impact on his lower torso, and the whale shark's dorsal fin hit him in the head. Luckily, he was okay and went diving the next day.
