Description: This position is responsible for OSHA Compliance and General Plant Safety Programs primarily in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Inspects fluid level of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles. Checks air pressure of tires. Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Drains oil from crankcase and refills crankcase with required amount of oil.
Description: This position is responsible for the preparation, coding and submission of all Manufacturers’ warranty claims in a timely manner. Understands and insures compliance with all manufacturers and vendor policies and warranty procedures and insures proper documentation on all claims. Also, assists the service department in answering phone calls when necessary. Follows up on payment of outstanding claims, not to exceed 60 days. Reviews warranty chargeback’s with service manager; resubmits rejected or underpaid claims if applicable with correct documentation.
