Mother Giraffe Protects Calf From Lions in Kenya

After seven trips to Kicheche Bush Camp in Kenya, Australian tourists Bill and Barbara Westbrook probably didn't expect to see anything they haven't seen before. However, the couple said that the encounter in this video between a mother giraffe and a pride of lions is the most incredible they've ever seen.

The video shows a mother giraffe's inspiring maternal instinct as she sharply raises her legs and slams them down to scare a pride of lions away from her child.
