Crazy Video: News Photographer Attacked With His Own Tripod

GLEN, WV-- West Virginia photojournalist Bob Aaron got the beat down from one of his subjects -- with his own camera tripod.

Aaron was filming Howard Lilly's property on a public road, chasing a story about alleged animal abuse. That's when Aaron says Lilly went after him -- and he was able to catch it all on camera!

Aaron's leg has some cuts and bruises, but he's expected to be okay.

"I said, 'I can't believe this is happening,'" he said. "He just kind of went crazy there for a minute."

Aaron's camera? Not doing so well. State troopers say Lilly confessed when they questioned him.

"He was very remorseful," a trooper said. "He was in tears in there ... he just said that he didn't want his family disgraced by being on TV for something they haven't done."
