The actor-comedian is still recovering from a bad car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike earlier this month. He suffered several broken bones including his ribs, nose and leg - after a Walmart truck hit the limo he was riding in.

A criminal complaint alleges that Kevin Roper, the driver of the truck, had not slept in more than 24 hours at the time of the accident. Roper entered a plea of 'not guilty' to charges of death by auto and assault by auto.

Morgan's assistant, Jeffrey Millea, and fellow comedian, Ardie Fuqua, were also injured in the incident. A video surfaced last week on TMZ showing footage of Fuqua being pulled out of the wreckage prompting a call to the celebrity news site to take it down.

Doctors remain optimistic that Morgan's recovery is progressing.
