Scathing Ad Posted for Wedding Gown Worn by Cheating Ex-Wife

A man from Sydney, Australia, had to cope with his marriage ending after just two years when his wife left him for a close friend. Another (non-cheating) friend suggested that he sell her wedding dress online to make a little money ... and get a little revenge.

He agreed, and his friend wrote a scathing ad on Gumtree, which is the overseas version of Craigslist.

The ad reads:"Wedding Dress for Bride Seeking Eventual Infidelity - Due to be married soon? Not planning on staying faithful? Want to sleep with one of your soon-to-be husband's closest friends? Then THIS is the wedding dress for you! "It's "a one of a kind garment designed by Benedict Arnold, believed to be derived from the very cloth Judas wore ... to betray the only son of God - Jesus Christ."

The seller guarantees, "approximately two years of reasonable wedded mediocrity before the complete and utter disintegration of your relationship due to your extramarital promiscuity," and concludes with, "the garment is in better condition than the marriage - not looking for much. Make an offer."

Now, this is the part of the article where we mention how many times we've all been fooled by fake ads and faux-videos, so maybe we shouldn't put too much stock in this one, either. However, real or not ... you have to admit, it's a clever idea.

If this ex-husband doesn't manage to sell the dress, we hope someone at least offers him a hug.
