One Retailer's Surprising Online Sales
On Thursdays Market Foolery, host Chris Hill and Jason Moser, Motley Fool One analyst, discuss Restoration Hardware and its quarterly reports.
Chris wants to know if Restoration Hardware's numbers are really as good as they look. Were expectations too low? Is there a catch? Jason puts all the questions to rest by saying that the results are as good as they look.
While Jason's never been to a Restoration Hardware, he summarizes the past of the company, and sees it doing well. Compared to Williams-Sonoma , Restoration is a bit smaller, but might have a bit more room to grow. Although it trades at 35 times full-year estimates, which seem a bit robust for Jason, he notes that, again, the company does very well. Chris adds that Williams-Sonoma has succeeded with direct-to-consumer, and he questions how Restoration Hardware will fair in that area.
Could Restoration Hardware be the next Williams-Sonoma?
