The period drama that started in 2007 has captivated audiences and won numerous awards, but do you know where a lot of the 'Mad Men' actors got their start?

Christina Hendricks, known for playing Joan Holloway, played the role of Rhiannon on the show 'Undressed.' The late night MTV soap ran from 1999-2002. Hendricks appeared in one episode in 1999, in which she was a college student with bangs. She's a beauty, but the script is ... painful.

Jon Hamm, who plays Donald Draper, was once a contestant on the game show "The Big Date." Sadly Jon lost.

Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy Olson, once played the role of 'little girl' alongside Hulk Hogan in "Suburban Commando."

Vincent Kartheiser, who portrays Pete Campbell, played 'Connor' on an episode of 'Angel.'

January Jones, who plays Betty Francis, played the role of Jeannie in the film 'Love Actually.'

John Slattery, who plays Roger Sterling, was in an ad for Sports Illustrated magazine.

Jared Harris, known for playing Lane Pryce, played Mac McGrath in the film 'Mr. Deeds.'

Rich Sommer, who plays Harry Crane, got his first big break playing the character of 'Doug' in 'The Devils wears Prada.'

Kevin Rahm, who plays Ted Chaough, once played 'Tim' on an episode of 'Friends.'

Jay R. Ferguson, known for playing Stan Rizzo, was in the classic film 'The Outsiders' where he played Ponyboy Curtis.

Harry Hamlin, who plays Jim Cutler, played 'Perseus' in the legendary film 'Clash of the Titans.'

And finally, Robert Morse, who plays Bert Cooper, once starred in the film 'How to Succeed in Business...' as J. Pierrepont Finch.
