Justin Timberlake may have just reinvented the awards speech wheel. Here's what he told his competitors and his fans after winning Top Artist at Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards.

"I love you guys. It's not a competition, but if it was, I won! And guess what, I'm OK with that! ... I wanna thank everybody on Earth. Everybody on Earth except Donald Sterling."


Yes, instead of thanking his competitors, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons and Miley Cyrus, he just gave a "ha ha." And he pointedly played off of how everybody always thanks everybody in acceptance speeches.

The Los Angeles Times points out throw in an ending that points at one of the biggest stories out there right now, and you've got what might just be the most perfect acceptance speech ever.

And since he did it from his tour, there were even dancers.

As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the Sterling reference makes sense for "sports-fanatic" Timberlake.
