J. Lo kisses contestant after incredible performance

The theme was love on "American Idol," and afterJena Irene gave an incredible performance, she certainly felt some of that love from one of the judges.

Jena sang "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" by Elvis Presley for her third love-themed performance of the night.

JLo was moved and said Jena reinvented the song; Keith called the youngest "Idol" contestant "a species of her own" and a "musical platypus."

CarterMattwas loving Jena's performance, just ... maybe not as much as JLo.

"Jennifer Lopez freaking out was a bit much, but this really was fantastic. One of Jena's best performances, and one that truly is among the best of the season."

And MTV News was happy to see Jena back on the piano this week putting her own spin on the classic love song.

"[Jena] might have broken some hearts anew with her impassioned, goosie-inducing piano ballad."
