Hayden Panettiere nearly took a tumble at Met gala

Hayden Panettiere, 24, looked absolutely stunning at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala on Monday evening, May 5th.

From red carpet slip-ups to runways tumbles, check out some of the most epic falls.

Hayden's dress was gorgeous, but it was a lot to handle, and the petite star lost her balance and fell on her way down the famous staircase. (Perhaps she was channeling Jennifer Lawrence?) Luckily she was able to regain her footing -- and her composure.

She avoided a wardrobe malfunction, and her beautiful coiff wasn't even mussed.

Even Rihanna couldn't hold in her laughter as she stood behind flustered Hayden. Hayden made the most of the 'oops' situation, cracking up and flashing a bright smile.
