10 Companies Hiring Human Resources Interns
If you're a college student or recent graduate and have been trying to decide whether to spend your summer interning, making a quick buck at your local supermarket or just kicking back and soaking in the summer rays, now is a good time to consider the following statistic: nearly three-quarters of interns at companies with 100 or more employees are invited to stay on as full-time staff, according to an Internships.com survey.
If that got you to sit up a little straighter, you should also know that 74 percent of employers also expect to fill their summer openings by the end of May, says Snagajob. That gives you enough time to polish your resume and begin crafting some outstanding cover letters.
Human resources management is a great place to start your search, especially if you don't have your heart set on a particular industry. Almost every company has a human resources department whose job it is to maximize employee performance. And HR internships provide highly transferable skills should you decide to eventually move to another industry.
Check out the following companies seeking human resources interns below, or make your way over to our lists for engineering and business and sales internships if those are more your thing.
