Trailer for new season of 'Louie' takes a big leap

Comedian Louis CK released a teaser trailer for the upcoming season of his hit FX series "Louis,"and it's dark tone has some people talking.

Louis' previous teasers were also short, black and white love affairs featuring iconic New York landmarks; like the one featuring the Williamsburg Bridge. But none had as strong visuals as the Brooklyn Bridge jump.

As AM New York points out, some think that trailer went too far. Mainly because the Brooklyn Bridge is a popular spot for suicidal jumpers. Last December a woman snapped a selfie with a man contemplating suicide behind her. He was eventually talked off from the ledge. And just two months before that, another man jumped from the bridge, but luckily survived the fall.

Personally, I think it's an obvious metaphor for falling in love and shouldn't be judged as anything more than that.

Season four of "Louis" will premiere on Monday, May 5th with back to back new episodes.
