Skier Follows Path Leading Off Cliff and Lives

Hey, adventurers! This is for you. "Fox & Friends" explains that a path less traveled isn't always the right way to go.

'A man following someone else's ski path in Colorado ends up falling off a cliff!'

This accident happened at the Telluride Ski Resort in Colorado. It's unclear if the skier was on a restricted path, or skiing in freestyle terrain, but, believe it or not, he lived. He walked away with minor injuries.

Telluride Ski Patrol mentioned on its Facebook page that after the big fall, the skier only suffered from a small shoulder injury and was in good spirits.

What a lucky man! To keep mishaps like these from happening, the resort provides a lot of rules and precautions to help keep everyone safe, including the 'Your Responsibility Code' which includes this helpful tip: 'Be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce.'

Ain't that the truth! As Telluride's Ski Patrol puts it, "Know before you go!"
