Passengers Save the Day After Mass. Bus Driver Has Seizure Behind Wheel

An MBTA bus driver in Quincy, Mass., suffered a seizure while driving through Quincy Point over the weekend, prompting at least one passenger to help him stop the bus, the Patriot Ledger reported.

Four videos show the traumatic moment on the bus. With the bus still in motion, the driver begins to convulse and slumps over in his seat.

At first, passengers didn't seem to notice what was going on. Then, one concerned and noticeably frightened man jumped to his feet, followed by the rest of the riders.

Passengers quickly managed to get the bus pulled over safely, and then 911 was called.

The riders were not injured, and the driver was immediately rushed to the hospital. Though he's not yet back on the job, he's reportedly doing well.

The MBTA sent along thanks to the riders for preventing what could have been a disastrous
situation.
