A Delaware man died on Sunday and, much to his family's surprise, he had already written his own obituary. The obit starts with a Monty Python reference and only gets better from there.

'Walter George Bruhl Jr. of Newark and Dewey Beach is a dead person; he is no more; he is bereft of life; he is deceased; he has rung down the curtain and gone to join the choir invisible; he has expired and gone to meet his maker...'

Bruhl's self penned obituary recounts his time in public school, his service during the Korean War and working as an engineering technologist. He is survived by his sons, daughters, and wife of 57 years 'who will now be able to purchase the mink coat which he had always refused her because he believed only minks should wear mink.'

Bruhl explains his reasoning for being cremated. He writes that his wife, Helene, refused to have him forever standing in a corner of the room with a glass of Jack Daniels in his hand. A memorial service will be held for Bruhl on Saturday, where everyone will raise a glass of their favorite drink in his honor.

His grandson Sam Bruhl posted the amazing obituary to Reddit, and wrote on his Facebook that the obit was, 'Typical of my PopPop: he cut out the middleman and wrote his own ... obituary. He's the only man I've ever known to be able to add his own humor like this.'
