Roma Downey and Diogo Morgado sit down with Brian Balthazar and delve into the making of their new feature film, "Son of God," based on the extraordinary tales of The New Testament.

"It's a big responsibility," admits Morgado, who takes on on the iconic role of Jesus. "It's one of the biggest. The truth is we need to understand that it's not a role, it's someone that is pretty much alive in the hearts of billions around the world - in my heart."

Downy (playing The Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus) reveals that she relates to her co-stars connection to the film's title character. She even describes feeling the presence of spirit on set. "We had a guy who's job it was to clear snakes and scorpions off the set. Maybe on each given day there were one or two snakes. But, the day that we were shooting the crucifixion sequence, he cleared over forty snakes from around the foot of the cross. It just felt like there had been an extraordinary clearing."

Extraordinary, indeed. "Son of God" is in theaters now.
