Nintendo Execs Take Pay Cuts to Compensate for 2013 Losses

In an effort that was said to help offset losses, Mr. Iwata and other Nintendo executives will take pay-cuts. The pay-cuts are said to last about 6 months, which will see Mr. Iwata's reduced by 50 percent, Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto, will be taking a 30 percent cut and all remaining board members will see 20 percent cuts.
A similar tactic was taken by Mr. Iwata following poor 3DS sales. Future executive salaries will be evaluated based on business.
