6:00PM EST: The Globes are off to an adventurous start! Earlier tonight, a sprinkler broke above the red carpet, flooding it with over 5,000 gallons of water. Video teams and reporters weren't allowed anywhere near the carpet as teams worked tirelessly to clean up the spill.
The 71st Golden Globe Awards, honoring the best in film and American television of 2013, will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 12, 2014, by NBC.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler return as co-hosts -- and if this year's first look at the event is any indication, they'll be in peak comedic form!
