Lost Scrapbook Put Together By Marilyn Monroe Discovered

Newsweek has uncovered a scrapbook put together by Marilyn Monroe. Now, it's being showcased.

'Good Morning America' says the scrapbook was a birthday present for photographer Sam Shaw. Monroe even wrote her own 'just between us' captions in crayon. 'A girl has no privacy when she works,' reads one.

Some think that this never-before-seen look inside her mind might also be proof that she had an affair with Sam Shaw during her marriages to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller.

Photographer Lawrence Schiller says Shaw gave him the scrapbook in 1973 and revealed that he had once reportedly had an affair with Monroe.

While Shaw's name might not ring a bell, you've definitely seen his work: he was the photographer who took the iconic images of Marilyn standing on a subway gate in a white dress.
