Opened in July in Brookwood, Saltyard is the first restaurant from restaurant royalty heir Christian Favalli (his dad is Sergio Favalli, of La Grotta). Word on the Street
Baseball purists are lamenting the Braves' upcoming 2017 move from downtown's beloved Turner Field to a shiny new yet-to-be-constructed stadium in suburban Cobb County. The Ted, which was built for the 1996 Olympics, will be torn down, and the land is slated to become a "development for middle class people," according to Mayor Kasim Reed.
Freelance writer Jennifer Bradley Franklin moved to Atlanta when she was 4 years old, so she feels like a true native. Her work has appeared in People, American Way, Simply Buckhead, The Atlantan and others. She loves that her city has the best pizza outside of Naples (Antico Napoletana) and that the world's busiest airport makes it easy to get a direct flight nearly anywhere.
