Texas Instruments Raises Dividend 7%
Chip manufacturer Texas Instrumentsannounced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.30 per share, a 7% increase over the payout made to investors last quarter of $0.28 per share. The announcement of the new, higher dividend payment was made last month.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Nov. 18 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct. 31. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.30-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3% based on the closing price today of Texas Instrument's stock.
