Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals to Present at Upcoming Conferences

WATERTOWN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTPH), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a portfolio of potent new antibiotics designed to be effective against dangerous, drug-resistant bacteria (including multidrug-resistant (MDR) gram-negative pathogens), today announced that the Company will present at two upcoming conferences.

Guy Macdonald, Tetraphase President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at the 2013 Stifel Nicolaus Healthcare Conference on Thursday, September 12, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The conference will take place at The Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available on the Company's website at http://ir.tphase.com/events.cfm. An archived presentation will be available for 30 days.

Mr. Macdonald will also be presenting at the BioPharm America 6th Annual International Partnering Conference on Thursday, September 19, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The conference will take place at The Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston.
