Qlik Technologies Increases Sales but Misses Estimates on Earnings
Qlik Technologies (NAS: QLIK) reported earnings on July 25. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at -$0.02. The 17 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted -$0.01 per share. Non-GAAP EPS were -$0.02 for Q2 against $0.02 per share for the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS were -$0.09 for Q2 against -$0.02 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 86.5%, 230 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -8.4%, 570 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -7.5%, 510 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $107.8 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.03.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $478.2 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.38.
