We have been swooning over the PS4 for some time now. The PS4 is set to revolutionize gaming from everything we have gathered till now. So, how far does the DualShock 4 differ from our companion of seven years, the DualShock 3? Let's find out.

The fundamental difference that has been affected in the DualShock 4 is the addition of the two point clickable touch pad which opens new vistas of gameplay possibilities. Also, the controller is much bigger than its predecessor, almost as big as the Xbox One controller. The improved analog sticks and trigger buttons offer a better sense of control. There is a light bar on the DualShock 4 which exhibits different colors according to the number of players. It also changes colors to display useful game information like when a player is low on health.

The Share button is a welcome addition in the DualShock 4 as it will enable us to seamlessly share live gameplay and upload recorded videos on Facebook. There will also be a built-in mono speaker and headset jack in the DualShock 4 which, along with the bundled headset, will facilitate proper interaction among gamers which had been missing in the era of the PS3.

The improved ergonomics of the DualShock 4 will render a more comfortable hold and foster better control. Enhanced vibration in the DualShock 4 as compared to the DualShock 3 will ensure a better sense of immersion for gamers.
