Sovran Self Storage, Inc. Announces 10.4% Increase in Quarterly Dividend

BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of Sovran Self Storage, Inc. (NYS: SSS) , a self storage real estate investment trust (REIT), announced today an increase in the Company's quarterly dividend from $0.48 per share to $0.53 per share or $1.92 to $2.12 annualized. The increase is effective with the quarterly dividend to be paid on July 26, 2013 to Shareholders of record on July 12, 2013. The dividend, based on Monday's closing share price, equates to an annual yield of approximately 3.3%.

Chief Executive Officer David Rogers said, "Our operating performance continues to exceed our expectations. We know the dividend is an important component of investment return and we're pleased to share some of this growth with our shareholders."
