The new MAKERS@ program centers on the inaugural MAKERS Conference, scheduled for February 2014, where leading companies will send the women, who are making a mark within their organizations, to participate. The conference will feature innovative programming produced and led by MAKERS, and include prominent female and male executives from across a spectrum of industries.

Here's how MAKERS@ works:

Companies receive an invitation to join MAKERS@ which enables

them to identify three women from within their ranks to be celebrated as MAKERS.

These high-potential women will represent a spectrum of levels within the companies' ranks.

Each conference session will be executive produced by a MAKER

risks, overcoming adversity, breaking new ground for women and

even making history - will inform the course of discussion for each program.

"MAKERS@ fulfills the critical need for women to be exposed to a supportive network of highly successful women and their stories," said Susan Lyne, CEO of the AOL Brand Group. "We're encouraging companies to shine a light on the contributions of formidable women in their organizations, knowing that creating MAKERS within their companies will empower them and produce lasting results."
