Tableau Software Celebrates Public Debut as "DATA" on the New York Stock Exchange

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Seattle, WA-based Tableau Software, Inc., a provider of business analytics software, opened for trading today on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "DATA" after its initial public offering. The company's stock opened at $47, up 52% from its $31 offer price. GETCO Securities is the Designated Market Maker for Tableau's stock.

CEO and Co-founder Christian Chabot, accompanied by employees and members of Tableau Software's leadership team, celebrated the company's first day of trading by ringing the NYSE Opening Bell® and visiting the trading floor to observe the stock opening.
