Lancaster Colony Hits Estimates in Solid Quarter

For the quarter, gross margin was 21.0%, 120 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 11.6%, 130 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.8%, 110 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $283.0 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.94.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.18 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.97.
