Taylor Swift Sells Hyannis Port House Near Ex Conor Kennedy, Reports Say
Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy must really never be getting back together -- because the country-pop songstress recently sold the Hyannis Port, Mass., house that she bought to be close to her former beau, according to reports. Swift is the cover girl for Vanity Fair's latest issue, and though she skirts the topic of buying the Hyannis Port house (right next door to the Kennedy compound), sources confirmed to the magazine that she did, in fact, purchase it. And the magazine also confirmed that it was re-sold about two weeks ago.
To boot, Swift pocketed $1 million on the sale, according to E! News. Bob Kinlin, an agent with real estate firm Barnstable, who sold the home to Swift last August, told E! News that the Cape Cod-style house closed most recently for $5.675 million. Swift bought the place for $4.8 million. Quite an impressive turnaround for the chart-topping singer, considering she snagged the home at a 60 percent discount off its original list price of $13.5 million.

Swift played coy with Vanity Fair when the magazine asked her point blank about her purchasing the home. "People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like," she said. "That's a thing that I apparently do. If I like you, I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me." But sources told the mag that Swift and her parents had been eyeing the property for more than a year before she bought it. Swift and Conor Kennedy were rumored to have split last September.
Swift made some improvement to the 4,440-square-foot home, Kinlin told E! News, including renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as replacing the septic system. The home sits on 1.1 acres and has seven bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It comes with a private beach and gorgeous views of Nantucket Sound.
