Innospec Beats on Revenue, Matches Expectations on EPS

EPS came in at $0.89. The four earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.88 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.53 for Q4 were 35% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.81 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 30.4%, 40 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.2%, 120 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.9%, 390 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $199.5 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.85.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $803.6 million. The average EPS estimate is $3.49.
The stock has a five-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 72 members out of 81 rating the stock outperform, and nine members rating it underperform.
