Celanese Beats Analyst Estimates on EPS

EPS came in at $0.67. The 19 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.64 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.59 were the same as the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 17.8%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 5.8%, 90 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 6.3%, 40 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.63 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.83.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $6.69 billion. The average EPS estimate is $4.34.
