Standard Pacific Increases Sales but Misses Estimates on Earnings

EPS came in at $0.05. The seven earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.06 per share. GAAP EPS were $0.05 for Q3 versus -$0.02 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 20.6%, 160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.3%, 390 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 6.7%, 930 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $385.0 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.08.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.21 billion. The average EPS estimate is $0.22.
