Wal-Mart Axes Amazon
In today's edition of talkin' stocks, analyst Andrew Tonner takes a look at Wal-mart's (NYS: WMT) decision to no longer carry Amazon's suite of Kindle products. This is just the most recent chapter in the ongoing saga between the two titans of retail. While Wal-Mart currently wears the crown, the steady-as-she-goes growth that investors expect from the company contrast sharply to the high-flying expansion of Amazon (NAS: AMZN) . If the trend continues, there could be an upset a few years down the road.
