VF Corp. Beats Analyst Estimates on EPS

EPS came in at $1.11. The 20 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.95 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.40 for Q2 were 20% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.17 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 46.1%, 20 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.7%, 260 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.3%, 30 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $3.19 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $3.54.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $11.03 billion. The average EPS estimate is $9.49.
