Nick Lachey Buys in Encino -- the Burbs!
That said, you get way more real estate bang for the buck in the Valley and it is close to the studios -- which may explain why Lachey spent $2.85 million on this house, closing escrow a few weeks ago.
What does $2.85 million buy in Encino? A six-bedroom, 8,134-square-foot house -- which is a lot of house (as can be seen in the video below).
As we reported in June, Lachey listed his Bel-Air home (speaking of trendy ZIPs) at $5.995 million. The MLS is reporting that backup offers are being sought on that property, which suggests it is in escrow. Either that or the Encino purchase was made from loose change found in the sofa cushion and we think not.
