Plane Evacuated in Bomb Scare

A Russia-bound Aeroflot flight was evacuated at a Berlin airport after a bomb threat. But German officials say no bomb was found onboard, and the incident was a hoax.

The threat was reportedly sent by fax to several German news outlets.

A spokesman for the German federal police, Joerg Kunzendorf, says 140 passengers were taken off the plane at Berlin's Schoenefeld airport, and their luggage searched. No explosives were found.

The flight was delayed five hours, but later departed for Moscow.

Officials declined to say who and what they believe is behind the threat.
