Kids! Great gift ideas for Dad from the dollar store
Car Crazy -- 99-cent Only Stores has car wash, leather and vinyl cleaner, wet wipes and air freshener for under a buck each. Pack these in a bucket or handled caddy along with a microfiber towel and a wash mitt or large sponge to make a great gift for the dad who likes nothing better than to baby his car.
Candy man -- Dad got a sweet tooth? Pack three or four varieties of bagged candy like Reisen, Liquorice Allsorts and Werther's into a small gift bag. You know best what kind of treats your dad favors. Another idea would be to fill the gift bag with a beer glass, a bag of Planters peanuts in the shell and a small bag of his favorite potato chips.
Mr. Fix-it -- Get dad some new household tools for only a buck each at 99-cent Only Stores and pack them in a small tool box or tool pouch. I don't have a 99-cent only store near me, so I can't speak for the quality of these tools but I always buy pliers, hammers and screwdrivers made of heavy metals so they'll last.
Wine Aficionado -- Fill a jute bottle bag with a corkscrew, a bottle stopper, a wine glass and maybe a favorite chocolate bar or two to put a smile on the face of a wine-loving dad.
Fore Dad -- If Dad's a golfer, you can get a pack of three Top Flight golf balls and a bag of 48 golf tees for a buck each at the dollar store. Pack them into a spiffy glass mug or put them in a gift bag with a beer glass so dad can wet his whistle after the game.
