Wild Ones introduces Team Play to warring pets
Wild Ones has begun offering a Team Play option in addition to the regular free-for-all gametype.
A common player tactic in classic Wild Ones matches has been to form teams mid match. Using the in-game chat, an agreement is made to not harm each other unless there is no other option. The question becomes: when each player is aiming for first place, how much can you really trust your supposed teammate? Not too much; betrayals and back-stabbings are common towards the conclusion of a match.
However, with the new team mode, the agreement is legitimized. In the new Team Play gametype, two teams are pitted against each other. To win, the combined total damage dealt by everyone on your team has to be greater than the damage dished out by the opposing team. This team scoring keeps pets from attacking each other, and focused on working together to destroy the enemy pets.
Head to Wild Ones to check out the new gametype. To play, click the Team Play button at the bottom of the Multiplayer menu (pictured above). Whether as a teammate or enemy, I'll see you on the battlefield.
