Free USA Today e-subscriptionGet a free 30-day newspaper subscription to the e-edition of USA Today as part of a "Read Green, Ride Green" giveaway. By signing up for the free e-paper, you are automatically entered into a contest to win a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Sweet!

There are also daily winners for a year-long e-subscription. And you'll get the paper's Saturday edition, which is only available electronically.

No credit card is required to sign up for the free e-paper, but you do have to share your name, address, e-mail, and home phone. The freebie form also asks you to create a password so you can log-in later. You must agree to receive promo materials and offers via e-mail and phone from USA Today. Yikes! That is a lot to agree to.

Is sharing your phone number a deal breaker? It is for me.

Caveats: you must be 18 or older to enter the giveaway. It is unclear how long this freebie is being offered.
