Stocks set to open higher

U.S. stocks were poised for a higher start Monday morning, following a week where stocks shed some 5 percent. With a builder's index and home-improvement retailer Lowe's (LOW) results coming up today and more housing data and results from Home Depot (HD) coming tomorrow, housing seems to be in focus.

In general, though, investors are more concerned about the economy as the realization things are just less bad, but not turning good.
