A new docuseries will detail the alleged crimes of the Hammer family, including the accusations of sexual violence against actor Armie Hammer.

"On the outside, we were a perfect family," Casey Hammer, Armie's aunt, says in a trailer (watch below). "But magnify Succession a million times and it was my family. If you believe about making deals with the devil, the Hammers are top of the totem pole. Every generation of my family has been involved in dark misdeeds. And it just gets worse and worse and worse."

Here's everything we know so far about the show.

House of Hammer is about five generations of Hammer men.

According to a statement from Discovery+, the show will dive into the Hammer family history. The description is as follows: "Over the course of five generations, the men in the Hammer family have more secrets and scandals than any vault can contain. Armie Hammer’s alleged crimes are only the tip of the iceberg. Through a trove of archive and interviews from survivors and family members, the dark and twisted secrets of the Hammer family come to light. Behind the money and power lies a dysfunctional dynasty with its male characters exhibiting all the devastating consequences of privilege gone wild.”

In 2021, allegations of sexual abuse and cannibalistic fetishism were made against Hammer by ex-girlfriends, and the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the actor was a suspect in a sexual assault investigation.

Hammer denied all allegations. His lawyer, Andrew Brettler, said in a statement, "All interactions between Mr. Hammer and his former partners were consensual. They were fully discussed, agreed upon in advance with his partners and mutually participatory. The stories perpetuated on social media were designed to be salacious in an effort to harm Mr. Hammer, but that does not make them true."

Armie is the great-grandson of Armand Hammer, an oil tycoon and philanthropist. Armie's grandfather, Julian, killed a man inside his Los Angeles home in 1955, over supposed gambling debt and advances made on his wife, Glenna Sue. Per a Vanity Fair article, "Julian claimed self-defense, and charges were dismissed."

Notably, the trailer features an interview with Casey Hammer, Armie Hammer's aunt, who has previously accused her father, Julian, of sexual abuse and physical abuse in her 2015 memoir, Surviving My Birthright.

"When all of this came out about Armie, I was not shocked. You just don't wake up and become this dark controller, abuser. This behavior is deep-rooted," Casey says.

The trailer also features interviews with two of Hammer's exes, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison.

Elizabeth Chambers, Armie Hammer's ex, has watched the docusreies.

"I did not plan on seeing it, but I did drop the kids off at school one day and came home and watched it with my support system around me," she told E! "It was obviously heartbreaking on so many levels and very painful. But at the same time, it exists. The past is the past and all we can do is take this as a moment to learn and listen, and hopefully process and heal in every capacity."

She added, "I definitely was surprised, but I think that's to be expected."

Chambers also shared her divorce with Hammer is not finalized, but the two are "in a really great place" and "talk all the time." She added, "We're committed fully and wholly to our children, and to being together as much as possible in a non-romantic way for our kids. Kids need their mom; kids need their dad. So there's nothing we won't do."

House of Hammer premiered September 2, 2022.

The three episode docuseries will stream on Discovery+.
