Ariana Grande Looks So Chic in First Appearance Since News of Split From Dalton Gomez
Ariana Grande is spending some quality time with her Wicked costars after her separation from husband Dalton Gomez.
The Grammy-winning singer recently went shopping with Cynthia Erivo at London’s Loewe store, marking her first public appearance since reports of her separation from Gomez emerged earlier this week.
For the retail therapy session, Grande—who plays Glinda in the forthcoming Jon M. Chu musical adaptation—embraced her inner Good Witch in a slouchy pale pink knit cardigan. She paired the cozy top with wide-leg jeans in a light wash, white boots with kitten heels, circular black sunglasses, a white Wimbledon baseball cap, and a baby-pink crossbody bag from Courrèges.
Meanwhile, Erivo, who plays Elphaba opposite Grande’s Glinda, looked cool in a white T-shirt, a brown-and-black cheetah-print cardigan, baggy black jeans, and chunky navy blue sneakers. The Tony winner topped off the look with a mocha-brown baseball cap and a beige Louis Vuitton crossbody purse.
The outing came on the heels of various outlets reporting that Grande and Gomez have been separated for the past few months. The couple, who started dating in January 2020, got married in May 2021.
Prior to the reports, Grande was seen attending a Wimbledon match with another Wicked costar, Jonathan Bailey. During the appearance, fans noticed that the singer was without her wedding ring.
“Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived,” a source explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they’ve had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues.”
