Earlier Thursday afternoon, football fans learned that top quarterback recruit Arch Manning will be taking a major visit this weekend.

According to a report from Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, the nation’s No. 1 prospect in the 2023 class is heading to Athens. He’ll be in town for a big SEC matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

But that’s not the last stop on his 2021 recruiting trail. According to a new report from college football reporter Nikki Chavanelle, Manning will visit another SEC power later this season.

The latest Manning quarterback will head to Alabama later this fall.

Earlier this offseason, Manning already took trips to Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Clemson and Texas – among others. Now he’s headed back to Georgia this weekend and Alabama later this season.

Earlier this offseason, ESPN college football analyst Adam Rittenberg suggested Alabama, Georgia and Texas are the favorites. However, Ole Miss could be in the mix as well.

“From a recruiting standpoint, schools mentioned most early on are Alabama, Texas and Georgia, with the sleeper being Ole Miss,” ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg wrote of Manning.

Manning has plenty of time to make his decision, but college football fans will be waiting with bated breath to see which program he picks.

For now, they’ll have to settle for watching him perform against other high school teams.
