2002 After posting a third-round 66, Tiger Woods played steady golf to capture his third Masters. He joined Jack Nicklaus (1965-66) and Nick Faldo (1989-90) as the only players to successfully defend their title. His four-day total of 12-under-par 276 established the record for lowest 72-hole score by a defending champion.
