Anya Taylor-Joy’s love affair with Dior continues at Paris Fashion Week.

The Queen’s Gambit star and Dior ambassador made a lovely entrance to the French fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2024 haute couture runway show, which took place today at Paris’s Musée Rodin.

Even in a front row crowded with stylish celebs (see: Rihanna, Elizabeth Debicki, Natalie Portman, and Glenn Close), Taylor-Joy still managed to strike a sartorial chord of her own. She opted for a romantic spaghetti-strap gown made out of a cherry-red lace material. Despite the piece’s innate femininity, the actor put a tomboy twist on the look. While posing for cameras, she lifted up the edge of its voluminous skirt to reveal a black pair of leather lace-up knee-high combat boots.

Taylor-Joy has long enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Dior, even wearing a custom design from the house for her October 2023 wedding to Malcolm McRae. The unique whimsigoth bridal look consisted of a beige princess ball gown covered in colorful embroidered illustrations of birds, flowers, and other natural elements. She paired the gown with a contrasting ivory-white veil.

Dior tapped Taylor-Joy to represent the brand back in 2021. At that point, the actor had already been favoring the house’s designs for red carpet events, including the Emmys, the Golden Globes, and the Venice Film Festival.

“Anya will partner with the brand, celebrating the iconic heritage of Dior, and showcasing the designs and creations of women’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri and creative and image director of makeup Peter Philips,” the house said in a statement at the time.
