Anya Taylor-Joy supported friend Cara Delevingne in style.

Delevingne recently joined the cast of the West End revival Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. Taylor-Joy and her husband, Malcolm McRae, attended the show and gala after-party Thursday night at London’s Playhouse Theatre.

For the occasion, the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star cut an elegant figure in a black turtleneck midi dress, which she layered underneath a light, form-fitting black coat with snap buttons down the center. She finished off the look with more black, including glossy pointed-toe pumps with an ankle strap and a slouchy leather bag, and added a pop of color via a charm necklace and a berry-red lip.

McRae, whom Taylor-Joy married in July 2022, wore a classic black suit with a light blue striped button-down and a funky orange-printed tie. He stayed warm via a classic khaki trench coat with tortoiseshell buttons.

The Queen’s Gambit alum later reunited with Delevingne backstage during the after-party. The model celebrated the evening in an oversize gray-brown blazer, which she cinched at the waist with a black leather belt. She coordinated with knee-high black leather boots, then finished off the look with an array of glittering jewelry.

Taylor-Joy reflected on the evolution of her style in a 2023 interview with W Magazine.

“I grew up such a tomboy. I never paid attention to clothes until I realized that it was a form of performance art for me—specifically, on the red carpet,” she said. “I love drama. I love theatricality. I love leaning into a theme.”
