With all the leather looks Anya Taylor-Joy wore for the press tour of her latest movie, the Mad Max prequel Furiosa, you’d think she’d be ready to retire the material.

Instead, it looks like the star is leaning further into leather—this time, with a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier jacket. As Taylor-Joy arrived at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, she fit right into the racing community in a cropped leather moto jacket.

The brown outerwear featured a red collar and red stripes, as well as silver hardware and zippers at the sleeve cuffs. A signature Jean Paul Gaultier detail could be seen on the shoulders of the coat, where multiple rings were debossed in the brown and red leather. Walking around, the actor looked like she could slide behind the wheel of a race car.

Underneath the jacket, she wore a form-fitting black romper with a slight cutout at the bust. The itty-bitty ensemble showed off her long legs, and below, she wore split-toe Tabi loafers by Maison Margiela. Taylor-Joy accessorized with a pair of brown tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses, and wore her signature platinum blonde hair slicked back into a bun. Her other calling card, a red lip, finished off her look.

The actor wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance, with the likes of Winnie Harlow, Heidi Klum, Jared Leto, Ashley Graham, and more making appearances at the fast-paced event. Model Emily Ratajkowski even arrived wearing a full leather racing suit with a matching swimsuit underneath, which surely got Taylor-Joy’s stamp of approval.
